"There's vampire in your cleavage."
May. 19th, 2010 11:44 pmI just recently finished reading Dead in the Family by Charlaine Harris, the 10th Sookie Stackhouse novel. I'm not really prepared to give a comprehensive review: suffice it to say that the books have declined in overall quality over the years, while improving in desirable Eric/Sookie interactions. I keep hoping that Harris will weave an actual narrative once more, instead of giving us what she has for the past several novels: a sort of repetitive "Sookie Stackhouse: this is your life!" series of episodes.
That said, I am pleased to see that Sookie is actually developing as a character. And I would go on, but I'm having carpal tunnel issues, so I'll just cut to the point of this post.
There's a scene in the book where Sookie is speaking to Pam on the phone and Pam says something so hilariously unexpected that I had to turn it into a GIF. And so I have, below the cut, using an image of the gorgeous Kristin Bauer in True Blood.
( Pam GIF below the cut! )
